Melt butter and coat the steaks generously. Season the steaks with your preferred seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Place the steaks in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the steaks over and continue cooking for an additional 3-9 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness.
Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium,150°F for medium-well, 160°F for well done.
Once done, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
