Ingredients

Apple Pie Spices for Coating - can substitute spices for 1 TBSP of Apple Pie Spice

  • ¾ C sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • ½ cup unsalted butter- melted

Apple Pie Bites

  • 1 can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
  • 1 cup apple pie filling- chopped into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ground cloves, and ginger. Set aside.
  • Open the can of biscuits and remove all 8 biscuits. Place them on a parchment-lined cutting board and split each biscuit in half, yielding 16 pieces.
  • Take one biscuit at a time and either roll it out with a rolling pin or flatten it with your hands.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine chopped apple pie filling with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, stirring well.
  • Spoon a portion of the apple cinnamon filling into the center of each dough circle, leaving about ¼ inch border around the edges.
  • Gather the edges and pinch them together to form small round balls.
  • Prepare the air fryer by lining it with parchment paper with holes or lightly greasing the basket.
  • Arrange half of the apple bites seam side up in the air fryer, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Air fry at 350 degrees or on the "Bake" setting for approximately 5 minutes, then carefully flip them over and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Repeat until all apple bites are golden brown.
  • Once cooked, dip each apple bite in melted butter, then coat them in the combined sugar and spice mixture. Repeat until all apple bites are coated.
