Strawberry Soda Cake

This Strawberry Soda Cake is a delightful twist on a classic dessert, incorporating the refreshing flavor of strawberries and cream soda. Easy to whip up and perfect for parties!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix
  • 1 can of Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream soda
  • 1 tub Cool Whip topping optional
  • Strawberries sliced (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl add boxed cake mix, then soda and mix together until fully combined. No not add any other ingredients.
  • Pour cake batter into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes clean when inserted in the middle.
  • Allow cake to cook completely. Spread thawed cool whip topping evenly over top of cake. Add sliced strawberries, cut and serve.

Notes

  • To Store: Store leftovers in an airtight container covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • To Freeze: Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then aluminum foil and store in freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw in fridge overnight before serving.
