- 1 box of strawberry cake mix
- 1 can of Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream soda
- 1 tub Cool Whip topping optional
- Strawberries sliced (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl add boxed cake mix, then soda and mix together until fully combined. No not add any other ingredients.
Pour cake batter into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes clean when inserted in the middle.
Allow cake to cook completely. Spread thawed cool whip topping evenly over top of cake. Add sliced strawberries, cut and serve.
- To Store: Store leftovers in an airtight container covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To Freeze: Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then aluminum foil and store in freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw in fridge overnight before serving.
