Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken

This Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a favorite for any night of the week! So easy to make with just a few ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of slow cooker. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Add minced garlic on top.
  • Pour in chicken broth. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours. For the last 10 minutes, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and cover. Allow cheese to melt for about 10 minutes in slow cooker.
  • Remove and serve with your favorite side dish.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • If you like, you can use other cuts of chicken in place of breasts. Try using thighs or drumsticks! They’ll need to cook longer, so plan accordingly.
  • You can use any type of cheese in place of parmesan if you desire.
  • Can cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Add sliced potatoes to the crockpot for a complete meal done in hours.

Storing and Reheating

  • To Store: Store any remaining leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • To Reheat: Heat in microwave to desired temperature.
