Pudding Ingredients
- Chocolate pudding mix PLUS ingredients called for on the box
- Chocolate cookie crumbs
- Pumpkin marshmallows or candies
Frosting Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 1 to 1 ½ cups powdered icing sugar
- 1 to 2 Tablespoons milk
- Green food coloring
In a large bowl add the pudding instant mix plus the ingredients called for on the box and mix together for about 2 minutes or until thicken.
Spoon the pudding into a 9X13 casserole dish or spoon into individual serving cups. Refrigerate the until just ready to serve.
When ready to consume, sprinkle the chocolate cookie crumbs overtop of the pudding and then garnish with the pumpkin candies or marshmallows.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix all of the frosting ingredients together for 2 minutes, adjusting to make the frosting stiffer with more powdered icing sugar or softer with more milk. Scoop into a piping bag fit with a small tip (or just make a small snip at the end).
Use the green frosting to add vines to the pumpkin patch and the little pumpkin candies.
Serve chilled.
Store any remaining leftovers in the fridge.
Tips & Variations
- To save on time, use premade pudding cups from the store and add crushed Oreos, candy pumpkins and green icing. Or you can divide out into plastic cups.
- Add some gummy worms to look like they are crawling from the "dirt" for fun!
- If you want more cookies, add a layer of pudding, crushed Oreos and then repeat again.
- Take a shortcut with the icing and use frosting in a tub, tint it green and pipe it out.
