Low Carb Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter I like to use Kerrygold butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat. 
  • Once butter is melted, add minced garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add the heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a shimmer. Once it begins to thicken reduce heat a bit. 
  • Reduce the heat to low and whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. 
  • Add black pepper to taste, stir and remove from burner.
  • Serve immediately over zucchini spirals or anything else you wish to have Alfredo sauce on.
