- 2 lbs 80/20 beef
- 2 16 oz cans Rotel diced tomatoes
- 8 oz tomato paste
- 2 Roma tomatoes diced
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ cup water
- ½ large onion diced
- 1 tsp Cayenne powder optional
Stovetop Directions
In a skillet on medium heat brown meat. Once meat is browned, drain meat.
Chop the onion into fine pieces. Then add onions in with the meat and cook until the onions are soft.
Transfer the skillet mixture to a large pot and put on medium heat.
Chop the roma tomatoes into pieces and add the roma tomatoes and add the diced tomatoes.
Add 1 cup water and add tomato paste.
Cook on low for one hour on stove until thickened.
