Halloween Lush Dessert

- 36 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 6 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 (3oz.) boxes orange gelatin
- ⅓ cup boiling water
- 2 (3.4oz.) boxes vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2 ½ cups cold milk
- 1 (8oz.) package cream cheese softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 (8oz.) tubs whipped topping
- Green and purple food coloring
- Halloween sprinkles
Prepare the Cookie Crust
Add the cookies to a food processor and pulse into crumbs.
Place cookie crumbs into a bowl with melted butter and stir until fully combined.
Press the cookie crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish.
Prepare the Fillings
In a small bowl, add the orange gelatin plus boiling water and whisk together until combined and gelatin is dissolved.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry pudding mixes and milk until combined.
Whisk the orange gelatin into the vanilla pudding mixture until fully combined.
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold in 2 cups of the whipped topping.
Stir in a few drops of the purple food coloring, until you get your desired purple shade.
Mix the rest of the whipped topping with a few drops of the green food coloring until you get the green color you desire.
Assemble the Layers
Spread the purple cream cheese filling over the cookie crust.
Spread the orange jello/pudding layer over the purple cream cheese layer.
Spread the green whipped topping over the orange gelatin layer.
Sprinkle over top with Halloween sprinkles.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- You can freeze this to make slicing a little cleaner but it is not necessary.
