Charcuterie Tree

This festive charcuterie tree is a creative and delicious way to serve appetizers at your holiday parties. It is also a great option for those who are looking for a fun and unique alternative to the traditional Christmas tree charcuterie board.
Prep Time1 hour
Course: Appetizers & Snacks, Holiday
Cuisine: American
Keyword: Christmas Appetizer, Christmas charcuterie board
Servings: 20 servings

Ingredients

  • Meats: Italian dry salami, pepperoni, Calabrese salami
  • Cheeses: Colby cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese
  • Crackers: multigrain crackers
  • Veggies: olives, tomatoes
  • Extras: Sprigs of rosemary, cheese star and mini cheese stars
  • Supplies: Styrofoam cone, I used a 9 inch , saran wrap, toothpicks, mini star cookie cutter, serving platter

Instructions

  • Wrap the Styrofoam cone tightly with saran wrap.
  • Using your star shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars (one for the top of the tree and smaller ones for throughout the tree)
  • Place once on a serving platter or plate.
  • Starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top, make a spiral pattern of each item (may need to repeat some twice) in rows and secure with toothpicks.
  • Once covered add the larger star on top. Place sprigs of rosemary and mini cheese stars throughout the tree on any open spaces.
  • Add an assorted of crackers around the charcuterie tree and serve.

Notes

Note: Don't be like me and try to hide the toothpicks. Just stick the toothpicks into the food and cone and allow them to stick out for easy grab and go.
