Cinnamon Rolls Ingredients
- 2 cans cinnamon rolls that unravel may need more if using a large pan
- Icing - use what comes in the can or make your own using the recipe below.
- Red food coloring
Icing Ingredients
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tsp milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Open the packages of cinnamon rolls and unravel them into intestines shapes inside a 9" square pan. Be sure to leave some space for them to expand. Bake for 10 minutes.
While cinnamon rolls are baking prepare your icing by using the icing that came in the package or mixing 1 cup powdered sugar and 3 tsp milk together. Add red food coloring to the icing until you get the red color you want.
Immediately apply icing to the cinnamon rolls while warm with the red icing so it will melt and look bloody. I used a pastry brush to get in the cracks and along the sides. Serve and enjoy warm!
- Use packaged cinnamon rolls that unravel. Store bought ones work best.
- Want larger intestines? Use jumbo cinnamon rolls that unravel.
- Need more icing? Use the recipe below to make some more.
- If you don't want to use packaged cinnamon rolls you can make your own.
- Want a deeper red color? Try Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls! They are delicious and red in color, perfect for an added spooky effect.
