Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream sugar, softened butter, eggs and beat well. 
  • Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the bowl and beat together. 
  • Add mashed bananas, water, and lemon juice to the bowl and beat together. Stir in the chopped walnuts.
  • Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean when interested in the center of the loaf.
  • Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Take out of pan, cut into slices and enjoy!
