Ingredients

cup
oats
certified gluten free oats may be used if necessary
1
cup
milk of your choice
¼
cup
unsweetened applesauce
1
tablespoon
maple syrup
½
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
Toppings
1
small apple
diced
¼
cup
pecans
chopped
Extra cinnamon for sprinkling
Instructions
Place oats in a 16 oz glass mason jar.
Add the milk, maple syrup, applesauce and cinnamon.Screw the lid on the jar and give it a shake.
Place the jar in the refrigerator overnight.
When ready to eat the next day, give the jar a shake again to allow all of the ingredients to blend.
Remove the lid and place chopped apples and pecans on top.
Sprinkle on a little extra cinnamon if desired.
May be enjoyed cold or warm.
Notes
Overnight oats may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before consuming.
