Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds cube steak
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ large onion sliced into rings
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Prepare your slow cooker by spraying the bottom and sides with cooking spray.
  • Add the cube steak and season to your liking. Add beef broth, cream of mushroom, sliced onions and soup mix on top of cube steak.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • In a bowl, mix water and cornstarch. Add the mixture in the last hour of cooking and mix in with the liquids in crock pot.
  • Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles.
