King Cake Dip

Mardi Gras is just around the corner and if you're planning a party here's an easy King Cake Dip recipe that will have your guests asking for more!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce container cool whip, thawed
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white cake mix
  • Caramel syrup for topping
  • Praline pecans for topping

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the thawed cool whip and softened cream cheese. Combine together using a hand mixer until fully combined and creamy. Add in dry white cake mix and mix well.
  • Pour the dip mixture into a bowl. Place dip into a bowl. Top with caramel syrup and add the praline pecans throughout the top of the dip.
  • Serve cold with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, animal crackers, or fruit.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Notes

  • Use full fat cream cheese for the best results.
  • You don't have to use name brand, can use store brand products if you prefer.
  • This recipe serves 6 people. If you want to serve a larger crowd, double or triple the recipe.
  • Can add Mardi Gras colored sugars on top of green, purple and gold.
  • Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
