Zootopia Review: A Clever and Entertaining Movie for all Ages #Zootopia

Zootopia Review

Disney’s Zootopia was everything I thought it would be and more. From the hilarious one-liners to the vibrant colors made this film more enjoyable. I loved how they even referenced a few other Disney movies in the film such as “Tangled” and “Wreck it Ralph”. And parents will also get a kick out of the references to “The Godfather” and “Breaking Bad”.  This is truly one of Disney’s cleverest films thinking of everything possible to keep us entertained.

Most people would never expect a bunny to be a cop but that is what Judy Hopps wanted to be. Even though she gets laughed at she knew she had to prove to everyone that she can be a cop and that is what she did.

She ends up leaving her family’s carrot farm to pursue her career and comes across a sneaky fox who later becomes her partner in crime. Throughout the film they come across several other animals such as a buffalo, tiger, and my favorite “Flash” the sloth. He is slow as molasses and will make you laugh every time he smiles. Be sure to stay for the very end of the movie as it is priceless.

About Zootopia

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.

It’s hard not to fall in love with the movie and the characters. See what I mean by taking the whole family to see Zootopia in theaters on Friday, March 4, 2016.
