Just in time for back-to-school, Visionworks and Davis Vision is launching ‘Let’s Go See,’ a cause marketing initiative focused on raising awareness about the importance of children receiving an annual eye exam. Reports from The Center for Health in Schools show that about 60% of students classified as problem learners have some sort of undetected visual problem.
Many parents take their children in for routine doctor and dental check-ups, but often wait for their child to express an issue before they take them to an eye doctor. According to Prevent Blindness, one out of every four kids in the United States has a vision problem, making vision and eye health an issue with which parents need to be aware.
Visionworks has many glasses and RX sunglasses to choose from for kids and adults. You can get everything done in one place from the eye exam to glasses while you wait. Their prices are reasonable than most eye doctors I have been to and work with most insurance companies. I especially loved their friendly service and convenient location.
Don’t forget about their Buy one, Get one Free promotion going on for a limited time (promo may vary by location). You can buy one complete pair of eyeglasses or RX sunglasses and get a second pair for FREE! Talk about an awesome deal!
For the 2015-2016 school year, Visionworks and Davis Vision are committed to donating comprehensive eye exams and glasses to 10,000 children. To jumpstart their Let’s Go See efforts, they will partner with several non-profit organizations to identify those most in need, including Prevent Blindness and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
