When I first saw the trailer for Netflix’s The Sleepover Movie, I knew I had to add to my watch list. I got a mix of Adventures in Babysitting, Diary of the Wimpy Kid and Spy Kids feels that I knew it was going to be a good movie for the entire family to watch and I was right.
I’m breaking down my full review and thoughts about the movie below. Would you want to go on a family adventure like this? The Sleepover comes to Netflix on August 21st so be sure to watch it!
You will be laughing throughout this whole movie. Seriously. It is filled with family-friendly comedy for all ages. I feel like Kevin stole the show starting with the hilarious bathroom scene and Mim with her great comebacks. Yes, there are some cheesy lines and dad jokes but that is what makes it funny.
Action Packed Adventure
From the get go you already know that this is going to packed with action adventure but what you don’t know is that there is a plot twist you did not see coming. There is some butt kicking, mystery solving action throughout the film to keep you guessing with an ending that you will not expect.
