The Christmas Chronicles 2 Movie Review

The Christmas Chronicles 2 Movie Review
When I found out that The Christmas Chronicles 2 starring Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn was coming to Netflix I was ecstatic because I loved the first one and it’s SANTA! Even though we had to wait 2 years for the sequel, Santa was worth the wait! Well at least I thought!

My Review

It starts out by going on an adventure through Santa’s magical village and exploring things like the Candy Cane room which I loved. The scenery was beautiful and so clear but the CGI elves were a bit strange to me and almost reminded me of gremlins. They were not your friendly elves that would think you would get in a Christmas film. And the singing well, that should of never happened.

Overall Thoughts

The first Christmas Chronicles was great but the sequel didn’t cut it. Sadly, it does not live up to the standards of the Christmas magic we saw in the first film. While this is suppose to be a family movie I don’t think it will be a good one for all to watch. I’m sad t say that this is one movie you might want to save to watch if you have nothing else to see. I honestly got bored and so lost in the story a little after the beginning. If you see it you’ve been warned!

The Christmas Chronicles 2 is Now Streaming on Netflix!

About The Christmas Chronicles 2

It’s been two years since siblings Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis) saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son Jack (Jahzir Bruno). Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus (Kurt Russell). Written and directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter) and co-starring Goldie Hawn, THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES 2 is an action-packed adventure for the whole family that’s full of heart, humor, and holiday spirit.
