We are all sad that this is the final season for Scandal. With that being said, it’s time for a Scandal Movie, am I right? Tweet that out!!
I had the chance to interview Bellamy Young a few days ago who plays Mellie Grant on Scandal. During the interview, we discussed her character on Scandal and her part in A Wrinkle In Time movie. The room lit up when she entered with her smile and energy she gave. She made the questions flow easily because of that and she was so darn funny!

Does Mellie Grant Deserve Love?
That is the question we all want to know. Bellamy says the word “deserves” is difficult. Should she get a happy ending or not? Bellamy does have a deep fondness for Mellie and proud that she got her dream. But does she see her putting in the deep and honest work to have a reciprocating relationship? No, she doesn’t. Bellamy doesn’t know what that last episode is gonna bring. But she does know that she wants it for her.

How would Bellamy End Scandal?
With everyone predicting on how to end scandal we decided to ask Bellamy how she would end it. And this is what she said.
” I wished for her eight years in office and a White House wedding with Marcus. If I have spoiled the end of this, of our series, then they will strike me dead somewhere, she says laughing. But I don’t know looking at the chessboard, the way everyone is placed at the second-to-last episode. I am glad I’m not a writer on this show. I wouldn’t know what to do at this point.”
Are you ready for the #TGITCrossover Event? Don’t miss the 2-hour #HowToGetAwayWithScandal extravaganza. It’s the most epic night in TGIT history and it all starts TONIGHT at 8|7c on ABC.
Everyone has secrets and Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) has dedicated her life to protecting and defending the public images of the elite by keeping those secrets under wraps. Pope and her team are at the top of their game when it comes to getting the job done for their clients, but it becomes apparent that these “gladiators in suits,” who specialize in fixing the lives of other people, have trouble fixing those closest at hand — their own.

Working with Wrinkle in Time Director Ava DuVernay
She mentions how Ava is a great leader and how it’s so easy when the gift is true and enduring. She also mentions that her speech, vision and planning informs you. And she was so happy to get to spend a little more time with Ava to get to know her. And being a generous spirit that Ava is really changed the game. You can see Bellamy Young in the trailer for the movie A Wrinkle in Time right now see her on the big screen playing in theaters on March 9th.
