Over the past year and a half I have put on about 20 lbs. I went from an active job to a desk job. Sitting down working at a desk gets me tempted to eat. I get bored so what do I do when I am bored? I eat and eat and eat. On top of my desk job I am a blogger which means I sit some more when I come home from work. Needless to say is that I have become lazier and gained 20 lbs.
I have tried many other diets such as, low carb, no fat, and Weight Watchers. Yes, Weight Watchers did help me lose weight but I did gain it back. I was ready to try something new and that is where Nutrisystem came into my life. Thanks to Nutrisystem, I am trying it out for 3 months. I received 2 boxes of food. One was all frozen foods and the other was dry foods. It was a months worth of food and consisted of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Protein Shakes, and Dessert items.
I was pumped and ready to start. At first, you have to start out with the Fast Five box. The Fast Five box contains drink and food items for the first week to help you lose that first 5 lbs. fast. You start with an energizing shake in the morning and breakfast. There is also a shake to help curb your hunger that you can have during the day. I found around 3PM seemed to be my hungry point so I would drink it then. Follow with the Lunch and Dinner food provided along with fruits and vegetables for the first week.
When I first started it, my body had to get used to it. We just got back from vacation and I was used to eating a lot. It took some adjusting but I made it. I lost my first 5 lbs in the first week. Now I am going to start with the regular meal plan today. This is just the beginning so I will be sure to keep you updated on my progress and do a before and after photo. My goal is to lose 20 lbs!
