If you have a neighbor, friend or family member that can come over to help with chores, bringing you food, playing with the kids, just ask. While some may be okay with coming over to a house full of germs others may not. Even if they can take your kids for a few hours while you rest will be helpful.

Order Takeout
When you don’t feel good but are hungry order takeout. There are plenty of places that deliver or if they don’t you can use a delivering service that does such as Door Dash or Uber Eats.

Rest
I know as a mom this is hard to do but try to rest every chance you can such as when the kids go down for a nap, at school, etc. Or if you can have someone watch the kids for a few hours so you can rest do it. You need as much rest as you can get so you can get better sooner.

Stay Hydrated
This is one of the most important things to do when you’re sick. You must drink, drink, drink. Be sure to drink plenty of water or Gatorade so you can stay hydrated.

Keep the Kids Busy
Think of ways to keep the kids busy so they will not bother you as much. Try some activities that they can play without you such as coloring, watching a movie, etc.

Be Prepared
Plan ahead of time by keeping essentials on hand in case you get sick that way you don’t have to leave the house to get medicine and such when you feel your worst. Think of things that you may need when your sick such as cough drops, medicine, Gatorade, nasal spray, etc.
