These Keto Caramel Pecans are a savory snack to eat without the guilt when you want something sweet and crunchy!

    Keto Caramel Pecans

These candied pecans are easy to make on the stovetop with no baking required. I like to keep these on hand when I want something crunchy and sweet to help avoid temptations. I will warn you now that they can be quite addicting. I could definitely eat it all in one sitting but I like to portion it out in baggies for an easy grab and go. Enjoy!

how to make Keto Caramel Pecans

How long are Candied Pecans good for?

Candied Pecans are good for up to 3 weeks stored in an airtight container at room temperature if you can keep them for that long. You can make several batches ahead of time and store to eat throughout the week.

    Ingredients

    Makes 6 Servings

    1 ½ cups pecan halves
    ¼ cup butter
    ¾ cup Swerve brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make Keto Caramel Pecans

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and stir until combined. Add vanilla extract and combine. You can cook it for up to 7 minutes but I did this recipe at about 2 minutes as I wanted a thicker coating.

Remove from heat and add in pecans. Make sure to coat them well. Put your coated pecans on a sheet lined with parchment paper and place in the fridge for 2 hours to cool completely.

Once cooled, break apart and enjoy!

Why are my Candied Pecans so sticky?

If you find that you’re Candied Pecans turns out stickier than you wanted, you can put them on a parchment paper and bake at 325 degrees F for 5-15 minutes or until less sticky. Wait until cooled to determine if they are less sticky.

Can you substitute pecans for a different nut?

Yes, you can substitute the pecans for a different nut if you don’t have pecans on hand. Try using walnuts, peanuts, almonds, cashews or any other kind of nuts you have on hand.

Hello I was thinking about making this recipe I was wondering if you can substitute the brown swerve for a different Brown sugar substitute. I have Brown stevia. Thank you!
