The Johnny Rockets Myrtle Beach, SC located on Broadway at the Beach is hopping from old fashion milkshakes to dancing to the oldies. The 50’s diner setting is known for their burgers, shakes & fries.
This restaurant is a blast from the past as the staff is dressed in all white and a hat. The milkshakes are made fresh on the spot and have a thick and creamy consistency to it. And whatever is leftover from the mixture they will bring it with your milkshake for an instant refill.
When you order fries the wait staff will make a smiley face out of ketchup on a plate so you can dip your fries into. My kids got a kick out of that and enjoyed dipping their fries into the faces.
During our visit the song “Splish Splash” by Bobby Darin came over the jukebox and the servers stopped what they were doing and lip synced and danced in sync with each other. That’s our waiter to the left dancing!
Johnny Rockets is known for their delicious burgers and fries and they are right. Each of us ordered a burger, fries, and a milkshake and can’t complain about the food. The food was made just the way we ordered it and tasted great.
