We carve pumpkins after a visit to a local pumpkin patch and then go trick or treating the night of Halloween. My husband and I usually attend at least one adult only Halloween party the weekend before or the weekend of Halloween as long as we will be free to take our son trick or treating. We take Halloween very seriously around here lol.
