Lately, I’ve been having that travel itch when all of a sudden pixie dust landed in my email. That is the best kind of mail I love to receive. I’m excited to say that I’m headed back to Los Angeles from Sunday, October 28th – Tuesday, October 30th to cover The Nutcracker and The Four Realms movie along with some other fun events. Below is a break down of what we are doing.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Red Carpet Event
24 bloggers and I will be attending the red carpet on Hollywood Blvd. It will kick off with a pre-party where food and drinks will be served. I’m thinking maybe the carpet will be purple to go with the movie. Follow along on my social media channels to see coverage from the red carpet.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Movie Premiere
After the red carpet, we will head over to the El Captain theater to see the movie. I cannot wait to see it. It’s going to be stunning with the scenery, colors, characters, and story. Stay tuned for my review of the movie.
Interview with Mackenzie Foy (Clara)
Mackenzie started as a model, did some print ad and then got her breakthrough role as Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 and 2. Just from seeing the trailers, I know she is going to be amazing in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
Interview with Misty Copeland (Ballerina)
Misty is an American ballet dancer for American Ballet Theatre and is the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer. How amazing is that?!
About the movie
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

A meal with friends inspired by Pooh’s favorite thing, hunny!
Blu-ray & Digital Release of Christopher Robin
The movie comes out November 6th and can’t wait to share with you the details that I learn.
Interview with Jim Cummings the voice of Pooh & Tigger
Jim has been the voice of Pooh since 1988 and then voiced Tigger in 1989. I’m hoping in the interview he will do some of the voices so we can hear in person.
Dance Lessons with DWTS & DWTS: Juniors Pros/Mentors
When I got the news about this the other day, I almost fainted. Gleb Savchenko, Alan Bersten, and Brandon Armstrong are going to teach us dance lessons from some of the pieces in the film. I’m so excited for this because um just look at them. Just hoping I don’t make a fool of myself.
THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT Behind-the-Scenes Experience
More details to come!
Set in the 1970s, this ensemble comedy follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family, the Clearys, as they navigate big and small changes during one of America’s most turbulent decades. In a working-class neighborhood outside Los Angeles, Mike and Peggy raise eight boisterous boys who live out their days with little supervision. The household is turned upside down when oldest son Lawrence returns home and announces he’s quitting the seminary to go off and “save the world.” Times are changing and this family will never be the same. There are 10 people, three bedrooms, one bathroom and everyone in it for themselves.
STATION 19 Behind-the-Scenes Experience
More details to come!
‘Station 19,’ the latest series from the executive producers of ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Scandal’ and ‘How to Get Away with Murder,’ follows a group of heroic firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19 – from captain to newest recruit – as they risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock. These brave men and women are like family, literally and figuratively, and together they put their own lives in jeopardy as first responders to save the lives of others.
