“This is a sponsored post with Mums the Word Network and IGottaDrive. All opinions are my own.”

Somehow my son became a teenager overnight. Well, maybe not quite overnight but it sure feels like it. I am not sure where the time went but it has come the time for him to start driving. Scary, right!? Well, I am not too worried because I feel he will get the right education and experience through

What is

Students go on a virtual road trip across the U.S. and learn everything they need to know to become a safe driver and prepares the students to help pass their permit test. It gives them information about driver licensing requirements, driver’s ed program information, instructional videos, and much more.

What I like is that at the end of the course students will have earned the option to purchase high school credits and varies by state.

Get Started

To get started all you have to do is head on over to and sign up. Make sure you have Internet Explorer (7.0 or newer) or Mozilla Firefox (3.6 or newer), and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player on your computer so the program will work correctly.

After you fill out the information, the student can begin the course. It will start out with a postcard of different cities starting from Los Angeles and finishing up at Burlington.

Each city will have different sections that include questions, match ups, and/or videos. At the end of each section there will be a quiz and it will tell you if you are correct or not. If you are not correct you can select until you get it right. You will begin collecting postcards and then when each city is complete you move on to the next city until the end.

The Results

This course is a little long and my son had to break it up within a few days because he needed a break since there is a lot of reading and quizzes to take. If you leave off at a spot you can always go back and finish it where you left off and have a year to complete it .

This test gave me as a parent a peace of mind that my son can learn about the driving requirements and such at home and be prepared for when he needs to take the real test. And I can go in and look at his progress along the way.

If you want to prepare your student for their permit and driver’s tests and a certificate upon completion, head on over to Amazon Local and save 50% off the course.
