How to Prepare for Out of Town Guests

Stock Up.
To get started I head to Costco and stock up on food and P&G Household items such as the following items:

Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper – softer and 75% more absorbent than leading brands. The paper is wider so it lasts longer while using 4 times as less.

Bounty Advanced paper towels – the most absorbent towels where you can select-a-size so you waste less. The sheets are strong and durable with more sheets.

Tide Advanced Power laundry detergent – best clean for whites and colors that has advanced stain fighting with whiteners and color protection.

Downy Unstopables – long-lasting freshness with an exhilarating scent. The unique beads gives 9 times more scent than the liquid and lasts up to 12 weeks.

Clean the house.
Tidy up each room in the house by sweeping the floors, wiping down surfaces using Bounty Advanced paper towels, dusting, etc. Clean the bathroom thoughly that your guest will be using. If your guests are arriving sooner than you have time to clean focus on necessary areas first. Remember that closets and under the beds are great hiding spots for the time being.

linens

Freshen the linens.
Using Tide Advanced Power laundry detergent and Downy Unstopables freshen the sheets for the guest bed, and towels for the guest bathroom.

towels

Toiletries.
Supply toiletries in a basket or jar in the bathroom consisting of shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, razor, mouthwash, toothpaste and anything else your guests may need while visiting.

Stock the toilet paper supply.
Make sure there are extra rolls of Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper in the guest bathroom that is easy to get to. I would suggest putting extra rolls in a basket on the back of the toilet so your guests don’t have run into any situations and feel awkward asking for toilet paper. Also, be sure to put an air freshener in there to get rid of any odors that might occur.

Make them feel welcomed.
Show them around the place letting the guests know where everything is so they feel comfortable. If there is a time when they are going to leave and you won’t be home make sure to give them a spare key so they can get back in. If there is any important information such as numbers, alarm codes, wifi passwords, etc., present it to the guests.

It’s the little details in P&G Household Needs products that make them different from other brands and make our guests feel like they are home away from home. You can find P&G Household Needs products at your local Costco store.
