The setting of the movie is on a boat as they are taking a break from the hotel business and going on summer vacation. Throughout the film you can see the family bonding by playing games together, seeking new adventures and talking to each other without the use of technology. That’s why it’s the perfect summer movie for families and get some bonding time.
Great Soundtrack
The music in the film is awesome. You can hear a variety of songs such as Cake by the Ocean, Good Vibrations, Macarena and more. They are quite catchy and even caught a glimpse of my family dancing to them during the movie.
Positive Messages
There are several positive messages in the film. One is about working together despite their differences and the other is about how you make your own future and not worry about the past.
The Gremlins Make a Come Back
For those of you that remember the Gremlins, they make an appearance in the film on Gremlins Air. They are the same ornery creatures and will make you laugh out loud.

The movie is film with humor for adults and kids to enjoy. You will definitely laugh throughout the entire movie and talk about the whole way home.

In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
