My family is no stranger to technology. We use it for our everyday lives such as, I use it for blogging while my kids use it for school projects, artwork, and more. We are always excited for new technology and want to learn more but did you know that while most (79%) of Americans are excited about the chance to learn and try out new technologies, half are frustrated by the lack of access to them beyond what they read or see in the media, according to a new study by Intel and Toluna.

Intel and Best Buy have teamed up to bring new Intel Technology Experience to 50 Best Buy stores in major markets across the U.S. This experience lets customers play, explore, and be inspired by the power of technology with hands-on activities like 3D printing and virtual reality games. For many, this is the first opportunity to see, touch, and play with exciting new technologies they’ve only heard about. I got super excited when I got the chance to try out the Intel Experience for myself and to see what it is all about. Follow along with my journey below.

ne-yo intel experience
At the start of my Intel Experience, I was introduced to Ne-Yo’s experience. I can take Ne-Yo’s tracks and become a digital DJ by remixing his songs and controlling the stage lights all with the touch of the laptop/tablet.

Mars intel experience

My next experience was on Mars. Not really but it looked like it with the racing skills on Mars in an augmented reality world. You can control the reality world by moving the tablet over the Mars Escape pad with the touch of your finger.

3D printing machine
I was intrigued by the 3D printer where customers can build and print their own 3D robot but creating the image on the computer and sending it to the 3D printer. After about 4 hours you can have your own 3D robot built.

intel experience

After viewing the 240 square feet of Intel Technology Experience, I felt I learned a lot about the power behind the devices like tablets and laptops we love and rely on every day. Stop by your local Best Buy and check out the latest PC and tablet devices powered by Intel processors.
