I was honored to be invited to the first ever Geekly Retreat a few weeks ago and had the privilege to walk the Frozen 2 Red Carpet following the screening of the movie. While I liked the first Frozen movie, I did not love it so my expectations going in to see Frozen 2 were not high. But I have to say after the movie was finished I was literally blown away and ended up loving it way more than the first one.
There were even more magical moments and it was down right funny. I’m mean really funny! There is no doubt in my mind that everyone needs to go see this and probably will but I’m going to share my top reasons to see Frozen 2 in theaters on November 22nd. Enjoy!
Frozen 2 Movie Review
Olaf’s Lines Will Have You Laughing
I cannot get over how funny Olaf is in Frozen 2. Everything that comes out of his mouth is hysterical. I mean he’s already lovable enough but his quotes and sayings from the movie will love you even more. My favorite quote from Olaf from the movie is
Songs You’ll Love
We still are singing “Let It Go” from the first Frozen movie and I can tell you there is going to be another song called “Into the Unknown” that everyone will be singing as well. It catchy and a really good song to say the least. After seeing the movie days ago, I still have it in my head. The rest of the soundtrack is amazing as well and is going to be playing in my car while in the carpool line. You can get the soundtrack for Frozen 2 now online.
Kristoff Sings
And speaking of the movie soundtrack, Kristoff finally sings. Yes, you heard that right. His voice is heard in this one although it’s a bit unique and probably the most epic singing part in an animation film. I still can’t get over the 80’s vibe the setting was in. You will laugh out loud on this one, especially the adults who will totally get it over the kids.
Sisterhood
There is so much love between Anna and Else in this film that shows true sisterhood. You will see Anna stand a little taller in the film but I’m not going to tell you why because you will have to find out for yourself when you see it.
I don’t want to share too much more with you because I really think you should take the entire family to see the movie in theaters. Check out the trailer and more information about the movie below and go see it in theaters on November 22nd!
About Frozen 2 Movie
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019.
