Event Button

There I was in the middle of inputting each of my family’s favorite super hero for an upcoming family blogger convention when I got an email. That email was the exciting news of traveling back to Los Angeles by Marvel, Disney, and ABC for the #CaptainAmericaEvent and #ABCTVEvent on April 9th-12th. It was such a coincident!

That’s right 24 other bloggers and I will be covering the film release of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War as well as the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting and the new ABC shows The Family, The Catch and The Real O’Neals!  I can’t wait to share with all of you exclusive interviews, behind the scenes, sneak peeks, and more.  Make sure to follow along using these hashtags: #CaptainAmericaEvent #TeamCap #ABCTVEvent #AdventuresInBabysitting #TheCatch #TheFamily #TGIT #TheRealOneals #JungleBook

Here’s the Breakdown….

Captain America: Civil War
#CaptainAmericaEvent #TeamCap #TeamIronMan

The team of Avengers are back in a new film hitting theaters on May 6, 2016 but tickets are available now.  In our home we are divided between the teams of #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan. While I tried to get everyone on my side of #TeamCap it just didn’t happen. That is the same when you get a 25 bloggers together and get divided into teams. I chose #TeamCap as it is led by the one and only Steve Rogers.

During this journey we will conducting exclusive interviews from the cast of Captain America: Civil War. I don’t have the details yet of who we are interviewing but will be sure to update them as soon as I find out. In the meantime come up with some questions you would like me to ask them and leave your questions in the comments.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in twocamps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.

Adventures in Babysitting

I cannot tell you how many times I have seen the movie Adventures in Babysitting growing up. I loved it so much that I bought the DVD for my kids to watch with.  There will be a show on Disney based on the popular 80’s movie. It’s about two competing babysitters, Jenny (Sabrina Carpenter of Disney Channel’s hit comedy series “Girl Meets World”) and Lola (Sofia Carson of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants”) who turns a babysitting job into an adventure in the big city as they hunt for one of the kids who somehow snuck away.

You can catch this show on the Disney channel in the summer of 2016. I will have the chance to interview Sabrina Carpenter and Sofia Carson from the TV so be sure to ask your kids what questions they would like me to ask them.

The Family

Have you been following The Family on ABC on Sundays? This show is so good and I just cannot get enough of it. I am literally biting my nails during the show and by the end of it I have not fingernails left. It’s like one moment you have it figured out and then next is like What the What?. It’s pure craziness but I love every bit of it!

I know you probably have so many questions to ask about the show so let me know what to ask Cast and Show Creator Jenna Bans when I do a Q&A with them.  I will also be live tweeting during the show on Sunday, April 10th 9PM EST so be sure to follow along on Twitter with hashtag #TheFamily. You can catch The Family on ABC every Sunday 9/8c!

The Catch

The chase of the cat and mouse is on in The Catch. Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos) is a LA top private investigator that find out her fiancé Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause) cons her out of millions and then disappears, she goes on a private mission for payback stopping at nothing to catch her man. I just love a good cat fight that is why I am on #TeamCat! Which side are you on? Watch the next episode on Thursday on ABC 10/9c!

The Real O’Neals

real oneals interview

Being Catholic and raised in a Catholic family The Real O’Neals seem so real to me. It is absolutely hilarious! I will be screening 2 upcoming episodes of The Real O’Neals plus, a Q&A with Noah Galvin,  Jay R. Ferguson, Matt Shively, Mary Hollis Inboden and Executive Producers Casey Johnson, David Windsor & Stacy Traub. The Real O’Neals airs on Tuesdays on ABC at 8:30/7:30c!

The Jungle Book

And just recently added we will be screening the movie The Jungle Book at the El Capitan Theatre. I am so excited to see this as it was on my list of movies to see. I still remember as a kid having The Jungle Book soundtrack on record and listening to “The Bare Necessities” over and over. Can’t wait to share my review of the movie with all of you. You can catch the movie in theaters on April 15, 2016.

“The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves, who embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery when he’s forced to abandon the only home he’s ever known.

What question would you like me to ask at the interviews? Leave in the comments and I will do my best to ask them.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to follow along and get exclusive information. You can also follow along using these hashtags: #CaptainAmericaEvent #TeamCap #ABCTVEvent #AdventuresInBabysitting #TheCatch #TheFamily #TGIT #TheRealOneals #JungleBook and if you are on the other team you can follow along with #TeamIronMan

Disclosure: Disney provided me with an all expense paid trip to LA to the #CaptainAmericaEvent #ABCTVEvent #AdventuresInBabysitting #TheCatch and #TheFamily event.  All opinions are 100% mine and not influenced in any way.
