Family Fun at Castaway Bay Deal + 4 Day Passes Giveaway

A few weekends ago, I took the kids to Castaway Bay in Sandusky, OH for a weekend getaway. As it was in the single digits here, it was nice to go to an indoor water park were it is 82 degrees everyday inside. In case you have never been to Castaway Bay it is located right outside the entrance of Cedar Point. It is opened year-round and has a huge 38,000 square-foot water park with one thrilling water coaster. Other features include a set of water slides, a wave pool, a place to play water basketball, and lots of places for younger children to splash.

My kids ages 9, 13, and 15 still enjoy the water park and arcade. Although they say it is geared towards kids under 13 my 15-year-old still has a smile on his face every time we visit. We also enjoy wave pool, water coaster, and of course the 1,000 gallon bucket of water that dumps out every 2 minutes.

What I love about Castaway Bay is that it is not too large and I can see the entire water park and see what the older kids are up to. My kids enjoy not having the larger crowds and feel like they have the water park all to themselves.

Mango Mike’s is where we ate for breakfast the next day. It was a breakfast buffet and carried a variety of breakfast foods that the whole family would like. It was nice to get your breakfast already made so you can go back and enjoy the water park.

If you are looking for a getaway with your family you can score this awesome deal when you use the promo code BLOG. You will get a special rate starting at $149 for a (1) night stay, 4 water park passes and a breakfast buffet.

We’ve never been on a family vacation! We’re in the process of paying off debt~we have one credit card to go & our mortgage. It would be awesome to win this and celebrate 🙂 I think it would just be nice to get away with the family and enjoy each other without worrying about things that need done around the house.
