Fall is one of my favorites seasons out of the 4. I love the colors, pumpkins, decorations, scents, and more. Changing up the mantel for different seasons is fun to do and keeps the focus point less boring. Thanks to the At Homes store for making the decorations affordable and making my mantel ready for the Fall season. Try these Fall Mantel Decorating Tips when it’s time to decorate your Fall Mantel.
Fall Mantel Decorating Tips
Start with a Centerpiece.
Choose an item that is going to be your focus point when looking at the mantel. Then, you can find accent items around the centerpiece. This makes it easy when you are stuck on where to start.
Add a Garland.
After you got your centerpiece next comes a garland. Choose leaves, beads or something similar with fall colors included to go with the rest of your decor.
Add a Pumpkin or Two.
A few pumpkins is just the right amount you need to dress up your mantel. No need to overdue it as we know it’s Fall season when we see a pumpkin.
Mix Rustic with Modern.
Add a bit of rustic using an old lantern filled with fall items or a metal bucket, etc. You may even have some of the pieces lying around the house already.
Keep it Simple.
Less is more especially when it comes to the fireplace mantel. Too much can make it look cluttered and lose the design/theme you were going for.
Choose Fall Colors.
Think rich and warm colors such as red, yellow, brown, orange and gold. At Home stores has aisles of fall colors and decorations to decorate your mantel and get it ready for the Fall season.
