Just picture this – being in the same room and 3 iconic beauties as Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling), Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon) and Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey) in the movie A Wrinkle in Time. Yes, that happened last week and I’m still trying to take it all in. These 3 ladies have some killer backgrounds and that is why Ava choose them as being an iconic leader over just an actress.

  • Reese Witherspoon is a mom, producer, an actress and has her own clothing line.
  • Mindy Kaling is a mom and running a show with her name, about her.
  • And well Oprah raised us all with her successful talk show along with being an artist and entrepreneur.

There were so many questions going through my head that I could have sat there for hours talking to them like they were my best friends. Yes, they were that easy to talk to and so down to earth.

Throughout the movie, you will hear many powerful quotes and lines in the movie that are deep and really touch you. We asked each one of the Mrs. which is there favorite.

Reese – “I deserve to be loved.”
Mindy – “The world is where the light enters.”
Oprah – “Do you know how many millions of events had to occur to get you where you are?”

This movie is inspiring especially for girls and we asked them how each of their roles will inspire the next generation of girls watching the movie.

Reese – “Because we are the power of women together, not against each other.”
Mindy – “It makes you feel joy and happiness when watching the film.”
Oprah – “To live a life that matters. This film will leave an imprint and heart print when you leave the theater.”

So being that these 3 women are iconic as they are and know they are capable of doing anything, we asked them if they had a favorite book from their childhood that they would like to see on the big screen.

Reese – “To Kill a Mockingbird”
Mindy – “Harriett the Spy”
Oprah – “Caged Bird”

We couldn’t leave without Oprah saying you get a car and pointing to everyone. Did you know that was the show she was the most nervous at? She wanted everything to be perfect from the bows on the car to the way the keys were taped in the box so no one would know there were all getting a car. Then, Oprah starts laughing and says, “I tricked all of you’ll”.

A WRINKLE IN TIME opens in theaters everywhere on March 9, 2018!

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on
Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space,
examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s
transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing
one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.
