DIY Berry-Yogurt Face Mask
While there are a lot of cosmetics products around nowadays, not many of them can offer the same amount of natural ingredients and safety a homemade solution could work with. Commercial cosmetics usually contain a great many chemical compounds that have little to do with natural ingredients and they are also quite expensive. You can circumvent that by making your very own cosmetics, such as the mask we will cover in this article. Berries can easily fight aging, as many of them possess antioxidants which are crucial for skincare and looking as fresh as a daisy each day. Let’s begin with our recipe:
• For the first step you will need a blender, where you will have to combine a mix of two tablespoons plain yogurt and two tablespoons honey. Blend them together until you see they are smooth and perfect.
• When that is done you need to mix up a quarter cup of mixed berries, making sure you blend them together until they are smooth. Follow that up by mixing a tablespoon of lemon juice in and you will have a fresh mask ready to go.
• Now that you have all of that done, you will need to apply your newly-made mixture. Make sure your face is cleaned and dry so the mask will be applied right. Let it sit on for about 15 minutes or so, then follow that up by rinsing it with warm water. Pat your face dry with a soft towel and let it breathe.
One of the types of berries you may want to focus on should be blackberries, as they contain an even larger amount of antioxidants than blueberries. Fresh lemon juice has a lot of vitamin C and natural enzymes which help invigorate your skin. On the other hand honey has a gentle exfoliating power, combined with mild antiseptic properties which also helps improve tissue regeneration.
