By now you may have seen the movie previews for ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY. Do you think you will enjoy the movie? Do you think it will be a funny movie?
If you answered YES to both questions you are correct! I got the chance to see a pre-screening of the movie on Saturday with my family and absolutely loved it to the very end. This is a movie I am sure most families can relate to it some way or another.
The movie is about 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one.
If you thought you had a bad day in your life than you need to see this movie and watch when a family really has a bad day. It seems like nothing can go right for the family.
The great cast consisting of Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Dylan Minnette, Ed Oxenbould, Kerris Dorsey, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bella Thorne make this movie incredibly funny.
And while you are laughing you will also notice how close the family is and that it doesn’t matter how bad of a day you have, you will still have your family and be together.
Take the whole family to see ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY this Friday, October 10th in theaters everywhere.
