If you want to know what the Parr family has been up to since 2004, the wait is over. Incredibles 2 is now playing in theaters everywhere and I cannot be more excited. I got to see the movie last week while I was in LA and yes it is definitely worth the wait but before I tell you why make sure you watch the first one again because the end is where the second one begins.

6 Reasons Why Incredibles 2 Is The Superhero Movie to See
It’s Better Than the First
This beloved animated classic of all time is better than the first. With the animation upgrade, the soundtrack is awesome, story is good, and so much more that I would love to tell you but I don’t want to spoil it for you.
Not Just for Kids
I think the adults are more excited to see this super sequel over the kids because I mean it’s been 14 years. We were were young when we saw the first one and now excited to see the sequel from our childhood. Trust me there is plenty of humor, action and life lessons in the film for all ages to enjoy this film.

You’re not good. You’re super! – Violet to Mr. Incredible
Parent Role Reversal
The role is reversed as Elastagirl is the bread winner and Bob is the stay at home dad. You get to see the struggles of him juggling 3 kids, one going through adolescence and one a baby along with life itself is real life. But is also gives him a chance to get to know his kids. This film shows that nurturing parents are capable of doing anything.

New Characters
While Dash is still Dash but is now voiced by Huck Milner because it’s been 14 years and Spencer Fox is no longer a kid. There are also several other new characters in the movie you will get to meet such as Voyd (voiced by Sophia Bush), Winston Deavor (voiced by Bob Odenkirk) and Evelyn Deavor (voiced by Catherine Keener) along with a few other super heroes.
Jack-Jack and Edna Stole the Show
I’m mean of course Edna is going to steal the show because she is Edna but Jack-Jack also is the star of the movie. Being that he is the baby and learning his super powers to find that he may have more than one.

Family is Everything
In the movie they make family extremely important no matter if you’re a super or average family. They show ways to bring family together such as sitting at the dinner table, talking among each other and no one is engaged in technology.
Now the big question is are we going to have to wait another 14 years for part 3? Let’s hope not!
Take the entire family to see Incredibles 2 in theaters on June 15th!
ABOUT THE MOVIE
Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
