Keeping kids hydrated is important especially in the heat, when they are active and playing sports. During sports season and the summer can be quite busy and always on the go. It always seems like there is never enough time before you go. I love easy, grab and go snacks and beverages to take on any adventure or sporting event. Eat Fruit and Veggies.
Most fruits and veggies are full of water such as watermelon and celery. Cutting these up ahead of time and storing it appropriate containers makes it easy to grab and go or snack on throughout the day.

Drink Water.
Having bottled water on hand can easily be reached when kids are feeling dehydrated. They say eight glasses of water are necessary each day but it doesn’t hurt to drink a bit more when active. And if you want to be environmental friendly you can fill up reusable bottles and keep them in the fridge so they are ready to go when needed.

Keep Cool.
When on the go bring a portable handheld fan to keep cool. Or another way is to wet a bandana and keep it in the fridge or freezer. Wrap it around the neck when kids are feeling warm to help cool down. You can also use a washcloth or something similar.

Popsicles.
Make your own popsicles with high water content fruit. It’s a great way to cool off and stay hydrated. Try plastic popsicle molds or disposable popsicle mold bags.
