Do you ever hear your family say they are bored with the food you cook because you cook the same thing week after week? Yes, that is my family and frankly I am sick of hearing it. I need to do something different but I am by far the best cook out there so I need something that is not complicated.
I have teamed up with Red Gold Tomatoes and given a challenge to create a recipe using the variety pack of Red Gold Products they sent me. The variety pack included: Diced & Green Chilies, Chili Ready, Basil Garlic and Oregano, Lime & Cilantro and Diced Tomatoes. I also received an apron and some recipes. It was time to get my apron on and start brainstorming. My husband and kids love burgers and like them HOT. I thought I would try the Spicy Tomato Burger Recipe.
It turned out to be a big hit in the household and didn’t last long. And you know what they said that it was something different and actually liked it. Success! - 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 (14.5 oz.) Can of Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (drained)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Drain the Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes
- Combine the Ground Beef with the Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes in a bowl.
- Form into patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on grill to your desired temperature.
