The Kitchen Club Kids book series is created by Eluka Moore, Larry Puzniak, and Marianne Welsh. They created this whole book series to teach kids ages 2 and up the basics of counting, food and color recognition, while helping to develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills. Each book is filled with colorful pictures and easy to follow reading.
I received the book called “End of the Rainbow Fruit Salad”. The book has colorful pictures inside and large numbers for kids to see. Each color and fruit were spelled out in the color it was suppose to be. It also helps promote healthy eating habits for kids to follow. It tells you step by step how to make fruit salad. At the end of the book it shows you each fruit and how many there are with a large number. It also has the fruit salad recipe at the end.
This is a great learning and teaching book for young kids. They can help count out the fruit while naming the color of the fruit and add it to the fruit salad bowl. And if you like this book there are 2 more you can add to your collection of “Garden Safari Vegetable Soup” and “Feed Your Senses Homemade Bread”.
