Copycat Montgomery Inn Barbecue Sauce

Serves: (Yields 2 pints)

Ingredients
  • 5 cup Catsup
  • 1 cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Tarragon
  • 1½ cup Sugar
  • 5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 7½ tsp Chili Powder
  • 1½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Head Garlic peeled
  • 7 medium Onions quartered
  • ½ cup water
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in large pot and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Strain and place in pint jars.
  4. Store in refrigerator.

  1. I don’t have a Montgomery Inn here but this looks really good. I have been making pulled pork for the family and I’m going to try this with next weeks menu.
