The long anticipated wait is almost over as COCO is set to release in theaters on November 22. It’s a story about the Land of the Dead is not as dark as you think it would be. This story is much different as it is about family, music and magic. I got to see 35 minutes of it earlier this month and love every minute of it. I cannot wait to see the entire movie in just a few short months. While I was visiting in San Francisco, we had the chance to sit down with COCO Director Lee Unkrich,…

I love learning about what goes on behind the scenes and we got to do that a few weeks ago when we interviewed Director Brian Fee & Producer Kevin Reher. We found out stuff about the animators, characters, easter eggs and some personal information that really touched all of us. It’s not everyday that you get to ask a director and producer questions to get the real scoop behind the scenes so this was a great opportunity to get some details out in the open. The animation of Cars 3 is amazing as there are some scenes that are just…

A few weeks ago while I was in Anaheim, CA I had the chance to interview the cast of Cars 3. You many have already read my interview with Owen Wilson, Kerry Washington, Armie Hammer, and Cristela Alonzo that I posted last week. After that interview we got to speak with Nathan Fillion (voice of “Sterling”), Larry the Cable Guy (voice of “Mater”), Lea DeLaria (voice of “Miss Fritter”) & Isiah Whitlock Jr. (voice of “River Scott”). This was a great group to interview and of course Larry the Cable Guy was making us laugh with his funny sense of…

During my time in Anaheim, CA last week I had the chance to interview the cast of Cars 3. First up to interview was Owen Wilson (voice of “Lightning McQueen”), Kerry Washington (voice of “Natalie Certain”), Cristela Alonzo (voice of “Cruz Ramirez”), Armie Hammer (voice of “Jackson Storm”). This group of the cast was a fun bunch as there was lots of laughs and cracking jokes between each other. When asked how they became involved with the roles and why they wanted to be a part of the film some of them agreed it was much easier than others but…

Having 3 kids and being a huge Disney fan, Mickey is a familiar face in our house. When my kids were younger we watched every single Disney show and now that I have a 3-year-old nephew I can watch them over again with him. Being that my nephew loves cars, Mickey and the Roadster Racers is a favorite to watch and as an adult I enjoy it too. While visiting San Francisco last month, I got the chance to screen 2 episodes and interview the executive producers of the show Mark Seidenberg and Rob Laduca. How It All Started Rob…

It was such an honor to talk with STAR WARS REBELS Executive Producer Dave Filoni while I was visiting San Francisco last month. My son and I watch Star Wars Rebels all the time and I always love to hear the background story to the production and such. And if you have seen Rogue One: A Star Wars Story already you will notice how Star Wars Rebels tie into the movie which I thought was awesome that they did that. Before our interview we got to screen 2 upcoming episodes that were…well AH-Mazing especially the new character Klick Klack one…

Gareth Edwards is the man making history all over the world as the director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that is now playing in theaters everywhere. The British film director is known for directing the 2014 reboot of Godzilla but will soon be known even more for Rogue One. He has always been fascinated by Star Wars films and that is the main reason he wanted to start directing. I got the chance to interview him while I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago. He is quite funny and charming. If He Knew 30 Years Ago…

Riz Ahmed plays Bodhi Rook in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and just recently became a Golden Globe Nominee.  You might recognize him from some of his work in Nightcrawler or Jason Bourne to name a few or maybe even as the British rapper. Yes, that is right. Not only is he a talented actor but also a talented in the music business. I feel so honored to have had the chance to interview him and learn about his role in Rogue One. About His Character Bodhi Rook His character works in the Empire and is a cargo pilot…

Of course there has to be a bad guy in every Star Wars film and Ben Mendelsohn plays it so naturally as the role of Orson Krennic. The brief amount of film I saw of Rogue One made me love to hate him even more in the film. In real life he is actually a funny and friendly guy. I got to sit down and interview him a few weeks ago and turned out to be a hilarious interview. About His Character Orson Krennic He is the director of military intelligence and operations. And for the purposes of the film…

Donnie Yen plays Chirrut Imwe in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and is my new favorite character. He kicks some major butt in the film and did I mention he plays a blind character?! Donnie is so incredibly talented and is a huge star in Hong Kong. After seeing a brief showing of Rogue One and getting a feel for his character I was so fascinated to interview him and couldn’t wait to ask him so many questions. Playing a Blind Character It was actually Donnie’s idea to play a blind character in the film even though he won’t…
