If I Run by Terri Blackstock is full of suspense throughout the book. I was on the edge of my seat reading this one and could not put the book down. The pace of the book is fast so you need to make sure to follow along so you don’t miss any details. Even though the ending left me hanging, I know it will continue in the next book as this is the first book for the “If I Run Series”. Be sure to lookout for more books to come. About the Book Casey knows the truth. But it won’t…

Kissed by a Cowboy by Debra Clopton has a bit of romance and mystery to the story. I just love the characters in this story as I want Cassidy to fall in love. But then again, I am not sure if he is the right guy for her. I promise you will love the ending to this book as it is not one to disappoint. If you love the western setting along with some romance you will like reading Beyond the Silence by authors Tracie Peterson and Kimberly Woodhouse. I liked the fact that there were 2 authors working on this story and brought two sides of creativity. While reading the book, make sure you follow along closely otherwise you could get lost. Lillian Porter has always wanted to fulfill her mother’s dream of going west, so when she hears about a nanny position in Angels Camp, California, she defies her grandfather and takes a chance on a new future. But she quickly wonders if…

I found it interesting to read about Amish fiction in the book A Son’s Vow by Shelley Shepard Gray. The setting is in a Ohio Amish town called Charm. I adore the town and the characters in the book seeing their faithfulness with some unexpected twists. This was definitely a book I could not put down. Darla’s father was responsible for a terrible fire at Charm’s lumber mill which killed five Amish men. And though he, too, lost his life, the town of Charm hasn’t looked at her family the same since. Even Lukas Kinsinger—with whom Darla used to have…

The story of The Painter’s Daughter by Julie Klassen tells some deep secrets with some unexpected twists to the story. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. And the ending is one you do not want to miss as it is not what you think will happen. In addition to the different plots and twists there is plenty of romance in the book. I can’t spill too much about the story but definitely a good read. Sophie Dupont assists her father in his studio, keeping her own artwork out of…

I just love Colleen Coble books because she always leaves it a mystery until the end. I read her last book The Inn at Ocean’s Edge that was amazing and now she is back with a new book called Mermaid Moon. Not only is this book mysterious but keeps you guessing throughout the story. I was literally chewing off my fingernails from the suspense of the story as I did not expect that was going to happen. Without giving out all the details, you need to read it for yourself to find out. About Mermaid Moon Mallory’s mother died fifteen…

The Wedding Chapel book by Rachel Hauck is a good read that tells a story between two friends and sisters. Yes, this is a love story but a good love story that jumps around a bit but easy to follow along with. The moral of the story is that even after 60 years love can be right in front of your face and it’s never too late to wait for it. If you love a good love story, I suggest reading The Wedding Chapel. About the Book For sixty years, a wedding chapel sat silent, waiting for love.…
